This Past Weekend in PA & WV
Wed., Jul. 24. 2013 9:50am EDT
Our concerts last weekend in Natrona Heights PA and Weirton WV made for our first ever all-Millie weekend. Both shows were coordinated by ladies named Millie, one who was coordinating her first ApologetiX show (Millie Napoletano) and another who was coordinating her fifth (Millie Gerbo).
No, we did not do any Milli Vanilli parodies. Don't blame us … blame it on the rain. Actually, although the forecast called for rain (and Saturday's show was outdoors), God gave us nice weather for both events.
As Millie Gerbo told us, "I don't even know that many women named Millie so it's cool you get two in the same weekend."
Girl, you know it's true.
Here's an encouraging email excerpt the other Millie sent us after Friday's show:I just wanted to thank you and the band again for coming to our church last night. We really enjoyed the show...you guys rock! God has blessed you all with great talent and I pray He will give you all that you need to continue your ministry.
