Interesting Things About Last Wkd in PA

Last Friday, we played two anti-suicide assemblies for junior-high and high-school students at a public school in Karns City PA. Because of the venue, we were limited in what we could say, but not in what we could play. In fact, we probably sang the word "Jesus" more times in the span of four songs than many evangelists would say it in a sermon.
J., Tinch, and Chris performed "For Just You," "Lived the Day You Died," "Life Restored," and the ApologetiX anti-suicide anthem, "Young as You Are," and the students were amazingly attentive, polite, and appreciative.
Saturday's follow-up concert in nearby Chicora PA had no such restraints regarding what we could say, and the full band played at that one.
Chicora is pronounced "Shih-KOR-ah," which caused us to wonder: How wild would it be to have a concert in Chicora featuring Shakira, Chicago, and Chick Correa?
Special thanks to:
Our concert coordinators: Debbie Macurak, Debbie Young, Dave Ellenberger, and Matt Bates
Our merchandise coordinators: Laurie and Samantha
Our roadie: Dan "Mr. Swiss" Uber.
