Friends in Snow Places: Alaskan Fans Respond
Thu., Dec. 12. 2013 11:11am EST
With songs like "Nice Iced Pavement" and "Flurry" on our two newest CDs, we probably shouldn't be surprised that we've received a number of orders from Alaska. Here are encouraging email and Facebook excerpts from some of them:I am going to be able to on the air from 12 p.m.-7 p.m. for three weeks while the current morning host takes some personal time. I have the new Christmas downloads and will put them on the air during the Holiday season while I am on the air. I would love to have your ministry here in Nome, as there are hurting people who would not listen to traditional Christian music, but your music bridges that gap and a concert could really be a great way to present the gospel to the community. I will keep on trying to find the funding for a concert, as God provides.

I am so enjoying the new music. I'm glad you re-worked "Virgin!" I'm thankful to get the original lyrics to that OUT of my mind. Hugs from Alaska (where we love global warming)!

I have the new Christmas songs downloaded and imported into my Amazon Christmas playlist. We have been fans for quite a while, but we have not yet managed to cross paths with one of your tours. While we would love to have you visit Juneau some time, we are more isolated than most places since there is no road to get in or out. At some point we may be able to make a trip line up with a concert. Thank you for all you do.

I'm very much looking forward to the new CD! Since I first discovered you guys, I've been constantly blessed and impressed with both new and old ApologetiX songs. The Biblical truths and clever lyrics continue to amaze, and the production quality seems to increase with each album. Just yesterday I shared your music with another friend and he became an instant fan. I say all this not to bore you, but to give you encouragement to continue on with the ministry, in spite of the many challenges and frustrations you and the band have experienced over the years.
I am a History teacher in a public high school and for the last several years have used a YouTube video of YHWH to illustrate elements of monotheism when I teach my World History classes about Judaism. The kids generally get a big kick out of it! I would love to see you guys come to Alaska. I realize it's a long way, and for the next several months would be quite cold and dark, but you wouldn't have to drive your bus/van, so that would be a positive! May God continue to bless your ministry.
