More Tunes Coming Soon

It's been less than two weeks since we released "Devil Fell" and "Calling Dr. Love," but we're almost ready to release our next single. We hope to have it out for you by sometime this weekend. It features the following two songs:
I Want That Crown
Expounds on the theme of 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, where the Apostle Paul exhorts believers to run the race of life in such a way as to win the prize -- a crown that will last forever.
Rollin' in the Yeast
Jesus warned his disciples: "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees." (Matthew 16:6). This song puts that message in a modern-day perspective.
J. Jackson wrote most of the lyrics for "Rollin' in the Yeast" on February 3, 2013, and he recorded lead vocals for it exactly one year later, on February 3, 2014. Tom Tincha plays lead guitar, Keith Haynie plays bass, Chris VonBartheld plays keyboards, and Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner plays drums.
J. got the idea for "I Want That Crown" on February 15, 2014, and we had the finished mix from Hubie on March 9, 2014 -- only 22 days later! That may be the fastest we've ever taken a song from start to finish, which is only appropriate, being that the lyrics are about running a race! In addition to J. on lead vocals, the song features Tom Milnes on all guitars, all background vocals, and bass; Bill Hubauer on keyboards; and Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner on drums.
Stay tuned for a special email when the downloads are ready. We'll also post to Facebook and Twitter. And there's a lot more music in the works. Bill "Moose" Rieger was in the studio with Jimmy on Wednesday. Keith's in there today, J.'s scheduled for tomorrow, Tinch for Saturday, Moose again Sunday, and J. again Monday.
