Pastor's Son Impacted by APX

Because one of our band members has a special-needs child, this letter was especially heart-touching for us: Took the risk and had the joy of bringing ApologetiX to our church back in 2008. Had no idea the impact that night would have on our family.
J. and Jimmy took my son in their arms and loved him -- he has wanted to be a rock star ever since. He loves the music, plays the drums, and sings all the words to every ApologetiX song. The music is great, but it is the love of God that is expressed by the entire band that makes me a fan!
And that little boy with Down Syndrome is now a senior in High School, plays in the concert band and the pep band, and is a varsity letter winner. Who knows what might happen when you invite a rock band into your church? We do and we have become fans forever ever since."
Rodney Frieden
Senior Pastor
First United Methodist Church
Hagerstown IN Note: We remember Pastor Rodney and his son, Riley, very fondly, and we are honored to have such an impact in Riley's life.
Our lead singer, J. Jackson, has a 10-year-old daughter named Kelly who has autism. However, ApologetiX doesn't have quite the same impact on her as it does on Riley. Although Kelly loves to sing, she hates it when J. or any of her four siblings changes the words to a song.
