This Sunday: Local Show with 3 APX Guys
Thu., Sep. 11. 2014 11:19am EDT
Three ApologetiX members will be performing at J. Jackson's home church (New Community Church in Wexford PA) this Sunday, September 14. at 7 p.m., at a special concert featuring the church's acclaimed worship team.
We'll be debuting three yet-to-be-released ApologetiX parodies there, with J., Tom Milnes and Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner along with the church's worship team (soloists, choir, and band) and a full brass section.
It's also your chance to see Elaine Heitzer perform our recent song "You're So Plain" live for the first time with the people who played and sang on the original track. J.'s daughter Janna will be singing background vocals, as she did on the recording. If you enjoyed Keely Singer's work on our songs "These Streams" and "Gimme Helper," she'll also be featured at this concert.
The church's music director, Greg Macaluso, was Wayne Newton's music director in Las Vegas and Branson for many years. He played on "You're So Plain" and will be playing keyboards throughout the entire concert.
