How Do the Amish Feel About ApologetiX?
Thu., Dec. 18. 2014 10:41am EST
We've often wondered if the Amish were amused or appalled by Weird Al's "Amish Paradise" (or if they were even aware of it). Then yesterday we received an email from Kansas that makes us wonder where ApologetiX stands with the Amish:
Just had to share an interesting testimony. Our New and Used Hits and Adam Up CDs had started skipping and we were super-bummed because we knew it'd be awhile before we could afford new ones. Well, we walked in a thrift store in a little nearby Amish community today. We went to it on a whim. Never been there before. And guess what? Based on this story, we can't tell if the Amish are anti-ApologetiX (trying to dispose of our CDs quickly by selling them at ridiculously low prices) or pro-ApologetiX (trying to spread our music by making our CDs at a bargain nobody can resist). Either way, we're happy for Marisa and the Crew, and it was indeed a cool story of how God sees even the little things.
There were both CDs for fifty cents each, and Elijah was the one who had the thrill of finding them. While I'm honestly sorry it wasn't money that went to help ya'll today, I can't help but smile at how God sees even the little things. May he keep blessing you in as interesting ways as we have experienced!
