Clues for This Weekend's Single
Thu., Feb. 5. 2015 3:43pm EST
We're planning to release our next single by the end of this weekend, the first two songs from Easter Standard Time. Here are clues to the two songs:
SONG #1
Over 500 different people would see Jesus in the 40 days after His resurrection — enough to fill a small arena — but Mary Magdalene was #1 on the list. This song relates that encounter and the skeptical reaction of the Apostles. But once Peter and John saw the empty grave, they couldn't dance around the facts.
SONG #2
This song describes the experience of Jesus and His disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane. After the third prayer from the Son of God to His Father, Christ demonstrated His boldest love, agreeing to face the cross alone. In their master's hour of need, Peter, James, and John fell asleep. Meanwhile, Judas and the religious authorities had marshaled the troops who would take Jesus away.
These two new studio recordings should be available by Sunday night. Once the new single is released, we'll announce it on our website, on Facebook, and on Twitter.
