Update on Jeremiah's Eye Injury
Tue., Oct. 27. 2015 3:46pm EDT
Here's an update on Angy Kreuder's son Jeremiah, who is still recovering from that severe eye injury. Angy sent us this last Saturday evening:I know that it has been quite a while since I have sent you all an update. There have not been a lot of changes to report lately (not like the daily ups and downs of just a few weeks ago).
We saw Dr. Chester yesterday. The pressure is down a bit more in the right eye. It is still at a level that is still a bit too high, but we are grateful that it is not terribly up as it had been in the past. Jeremiah has a lot of issues with things close, such as reading and looking at objects that are close to him, as he is having something called "ghosting," which means that he sees many of the same objects layered around or on top of one another.
He is also having issues with colors, many colors, especially blues/greens and yellows/oranges do not appear as they are. Apparently due to the pupil being so large the extra light coming into the eye is causing or contributing to these issues.
Please pray that the pupil will begin to behave normally and that Jeremiah's eye sight will return to normal. He still has restrictions on things that he is allowed to do, but he is thankful for the things that have been restored. God is good, and we are thankful.
We still are truly blessed to have all of you praying for us and for having Dr. Chester from the Cleveland Eye Clinic and well as Dr. Pierre, Dr. Rao, and the others. We will always be grateful.
