Healing Testimony & Prayer Request from Canada
Wed., Oct. 28. 2015 2:06pm EDT
We received this encouraging testimony last week from a longtime fan and friend in Canada:
As you may have seen on Facebook, my wife, Carol, was taken to hospital on August 30 in an unconscious condition. After 10 days in the critical care ward on life support she improved to the point where she was moved to a general ward. An MRI shows that there has been brain damage and the doctors thought she would have permanent memory, cognitive and motor skill damage. We asked Steve for permission to share his email and to ask for prayers for his wife's continued healing, and he said:
A lot of people have been praying for her and God has been working miracles already. Her memory and cognitive skills are pretty much back to normal. She is learning to stand up and I believe she will be walking soon. She needs ongoing prayer for this and for her left hand which she doesn't use saying it hurts too much.
I wanted to let you know that I have come to believe that Easter Standard Time is perhaps the best CD in my collection. A true gem of a concept album which I go back to over and over again. I was listening to it on the way home from the hospital last night and for some reason a line in "Scars" just popped into focus. "Nothing heals like these scars!"
That is far deeper than I had noticed before and so very true, on many levels. Spiritual, physical and emotional. What a blessing that is to me at this point in time. Thanks for letting God bless people through you!
Yes, please feel free to share it. Prayers are always welcome and it's good to give God the glory for his daily blessings.
