Be Sure to Eat Your Vegetables ... and "E" Your Festivals!

Two months ago, we ran a story in our newsletter about three national Christian festivals we'd like to participate in, SoulStock '05, Icthus '05 and Newsong '05. We invited you to let these festivals know if you'd like to see ApologetiX play at their event.
Three weeks ago, we discovered that we'd been booked for SoulStock '05 in Alabama, largely as a result of your participation. ApologetiX was named on nearly a third of the surveys for artists people wanted to see at SoulStock '05. Thank you!
Now we've just heard from a person close to the Icthus festival in Wilmore KY, who tells us he thinks there is a movement going on to try and get ApologetiX to Icthus. He says they get numerous requests a week.
If you'd like to see us play at Ichthus, whether you're from Kentucky (like J.'s wife and his in-laws) or not, please consider letting the organizers know you think we'd be a good addition to their 2005 lineup. The link for votes is no longer available, but we do have the postal and email addresses for the festival, if you'd like to write a letter or send them an email.
Ichthus Ministries, Inc.
ATTN: Registration 2005

Your participation definitely makes a difference. Our first two major festival appearances, at Kingdom Bound '99 (in Buffalo NY) and Creation 2000 (Mt. Union PA), were a direct result of fans contacting the festivals.
P.S. Newsong '05 in Leitchfield KY is no longer taking suggestions for performers, but two out of three ain't bad!
P.P.S. Yeah, we know it's pronounced "Ic-THOOS," but the "What if Icthus Pickth Us?" headline was too good to pass up for the newsletter.
