We will, we will shock you: ApologetiX is now featured on the website of Queen guitarist, Brian May.
In a news item first posted February 16, 2005 and titled "Bethlehemian Rhapsody (Parody 'Bohemian Rhapsody')," the website notes that, "Christian parody band ApologetiX recorded a David-versus-Goliath take on 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' entitled 'Bethlehemian Rhapsody,' on their 2001 album 'Keep The Change.'"
May's website also features a graphic of our "Keep the Change" CD, a complete track listing, and a link to the lyrics and the mp3 file at apologetix.com.
File this one under the heading, "Crazy Little Things God Does."

People ask us from time to time what kind of feedback we get from the original artists we spoof, and we tell them that we generally get good responses. In this case, we guess you could say, "Another One's Nice to Us."
ApologetiX drummer Bill "Moose (of the World)" Rieger was a huge Queen fan growing up, and although he wasn't in the band when we originally recorded "Bethlehemian Rhapsody" in 1994, our decision to re-record it in 2001 shortly after he joined the band was not because he put us "under pressure" to do so.
