Good News from WJTL in Lancaster PA

You probably wouldn't be surprised to hear that one of the top five or so U.S. markets for contemporary Christian music is in Pennsylvania, but you might be amazed to learn it's not in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or even Erie ... it's Lancaster PA, an area most people associate with the Amish.
The big station in Lancaster PA is WJTL, a station long associated with one of the nation's oldest and largest Christian music festivals, Creation. We played the main stage at Creation in 2000, and we have received occasional airplay on WJTL, but mostly late at night or on the Saturday morning kids show, "Cookie Break." Believe us, we're greatly for ANY airplay, so we'll take what God gives us.
But lately, WJTL has been more open to requests, and that's been a great thing for us, because we have quite a few friends and fans in that area, as we have played concerts in the vicinity many times in the past. One of those friends and fans, Dayna Weinhold, told us she recently sent an email about ApologetiX to one of WJTL's main personalities, Radio Friend Phil Smith, and got this encouraging response:
"WJTL is currently playing requests by ApologetiX, and 'JC's Mom' is by far their most-requested song. There is no doubt that the music is reaching people. Within the past two weeks, I've had a number of people inquire about the song. I told them who the band was, and they were very excited, to say the least. Let the band know that 'JC's Mom' is one of our current 'top requests,' too."
Thanks, Dayna, Phil and WJTL listeners!
