Clues for Our Seventh Single of 2019
Fri., Apr. 12. 2019 2:30pm EDT
We hope to release our seventh single of 2019 on Sunday night, Lord willing. Here are some clues to occupy you in the interim. Think you know the artists we'll be spoofing? See how many references you can spot. We counted 21.
Treat others with deference, not indifference. Yield to God's will, not your own. Verses like Philippians 2:3-8 show that Christ humbled Himself, even enduring whipping and crucifixion under Pilate, to save you when you were oceans apart. Mind your manners and don't forget who you are — a glorified grace-receiver, saved by His blood.
When we come to Jesus, He points us in a new direction. There's glory waiting in Heaven when it's over, but till then, there are some days when it all falls apart. Anyone reading Romans 7 for the first time will be floored by what Paul writes about his own struggles. He made it and so can we, but we have to learn to walk before we can fly.
Once the new single is released, we'll announce it on our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
We currently have 124 other sets of downloads available for a donation of any size, including our previous release, "Romans 1:20" and "Broke a Loaf of Bread," featuring parodies of Jackson Browne and Jethro Tull.
To get any of these projects, go to http://apologetix.com/store/singles.store.php#singles and select the download you want for whatever amount you wish to donate.
