Karl's in Nashville, J.'s in Strep-ville
Sun., Apr. 10. 2005 11:53pm EDT
ApologetiX lead guitarist and producer Karl Messner is at Gospel Music Assocation (GMA) Week in Nashville from Sunday, April 10 through Friday, April 15, along with our publicist, Kathleen Burke. Karl's typical GMA-Week schedule is wall-to-wall interviews, but if you're at GMA and want to reach him or Kathleen, they will still be checking email and voice mail, although not as frequently as usual.
ApologetiX lead vocalist and lyricist J. Jackson is at home recuperating from a severe and highly contagious case of Strep Throat, which caused his doctor to order him to cancel both concerts last weekend, the first illness-related cancellation of an ApologetiX concert that we can remember in at least 12 years.
As he is supposed to be resting most of the time, J. will also not be checking email as frequently as usual, but he does thank all of you who have sent the wonderful notes and cards. He would write you back personally at this time, but he expended much of his greatly diminished energy merely writing and posting this news item :) (cough)
As far as we know, our bassist, Keith Haynie, and drummer, Bill "Moose" Rieger, are at home and coming off an unexpected-but-not-unwelcome open weekend -- undoubtedly tanned, rested and ready. But, seriously, they're family guys, so they've probably been busy with various home projects and activities with their wives (one per person) and kids (three per person). Ditto for our mysterious fifth man, keyboardist Bill Hubauer, except he has four kids.
