ApologetiX Pre-Christmas Update
Thu., Dec. 19. 2002 11:52pm EST

J. Jackson, lead singer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band) here.

Yay! It's Christmas break! Just like back in school!

Thanks to everyone who came to see us last weekend in New Mexico and Kentucky. Thanks especially to our drummer, Bill, who drove all afternoon through the desert from El Paso, TX, to Artestia, NM, and then turned around and drove us back the whole way in the wee hours of the morning ... and almost threw in a surprise trip into Mexico to boot! "I knew I'd made a wrong turn somewhere when I saw the barbed wire fence and the giant Mexican flag," Bill says.

1. New Single Released to Radio
2. New Radio Stations Wants Your Input
3. New Year's Eve in Seattle
4. Concert Schedule for 2003

1. NEW SINGLE RELEASED TO RADIO

With all the recent excitement, I think I may have forgotten to tell you that we have released a second single from our "Grace Period" CD, the lead-off track, "Corinthians," our parody of Linkin Park's "In the End." As we did with "Smooth Grandmama," we are targeting this release toward Christian rock stations, rather than pop or adult contemporary.

Our radio promotion guy, Seth Halloway, says that 46 stations have added "Corinthians" in the first three weeks, which he adds "is one of the best I have ever seen."

2. NEW RADIO STATION WANTS YOUR INPUT

This just in from our publicist, Kathleen Burke:

"There is a new rock radio station starting up in Tulsa, OK, and they are asking teens what bands they want to hear and what groups in concert that they want to see. Could we post their link to get our fans to email them? Here is the link:
