Latest Prayer Request Updates on Three Friends
Sun., Feb. 13. 2022 3:12pm EST
Here's another update with the latest info we have on three friends whom we've asked you to pray for in recent months. All three of these men were hospitalized for COVID in 2021 with very bleak outlooks. But God has done wonders for each of them. One of them is already back in his house, and it looks like the other two will also be home soon, too, Lord willing!
DARNELL CLINE
From his wife, Sonja, on Saturday, February 5:
"Darnell is full swing back into work. He works from home but still needs much healing. His endurance is not good at all, and he often struggles to breathe. I praise the Lord that he's so much better than he was, though. Hallelujah!
BILL TURNER
From his wife, Lynn, this past Thursday afternoon, February 10:
"Things are going well here. Sorry for not updating sooner. Bill is coming home on Tuesday!!! We are so thankful to the Lord for all the miracles and blessings we have received.
"He wanted to be home for my birthday (January 25), but was not quite ready at that time. So he sent me a great birthday gift anyway; it was a video of him walking for the first time with a walker.
"And he has been increasing his strength and stability ever since. And they say he is finally able to come home.
"This has been a incredibly long, hard five months, but I know the Lord with use his story for good somehow. Thank you for the prayer support and the encouragement along the way. It is very much appreciated."
RICHARD "KENNEDY" SADOWSKI
From his best friend, Patty, on Friday, February 4:
"Kennedy is officially off the issues radar and can now just concentrate on rehab and strengthening. He is bored, but he has his phone now."
From Keith Haynie's wife, Krista, this past Wednesday night, February 9:
"On my way home from work tonight, I called Richard's cell, and he answered. His voice was slightly weak, but it was so good to hear him! I told him how we've all been praying for him and he said, 'I need it.'
"Richard said he's thinking of changing his name to Job! He sounded emotional as I named the good friends praying for him, and he kept saying thank you. He told me today was his first physical therapy (PT) and they had him walking!!!
"Using a walker with the physical therapist holding on behind him, he walked 50 feet and then an additional 70 feet! Richard also said he lost 50 pounds, but now is drinking Ensure and eating. I joked and told him he was in hibernation and now he needs to fuel up, and he laughed.
"Before we got off the phone, he asked me to pray for him and Keith. Patty had told him about Keith. I told him we also need to pray for Tinch and his situation, and he said he would be praying for him. I told him we are all looking forward to seeing him at picnics and parties. Please keep praying for him; he is a miracle.
From Patty on Thursday, February 10:
"Great news for Kennedy! He finally moved to Passavant Hospital to start two weeks of in-patient rehab. The first day, he walked 50 feet in a walker twice and then 70! There is no stopping God in His plan. This guy will be coming out soon! He is enjoying the calls and texts and loving the prayers. Thank you for thinking of him and being an important part of his recovery."
IN CONCLUSION (FOR NOW)
