Prayers for Former ApX Soundman
Sat., Jun. 25. 2022 3:42pm EDT
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here again.
On Thursday, I received this update on ApX friend and occasional soundman Mark Bodin from our mutual friend Jerry McNutt:
"Mark Bodin had to have his right leg amputated up to his knee. He starts rehab therapy today and is asking for prayers. Please pray for Mark and please spread the call for prayers for him.
"Diabetes is really hurting him. They may have to amputate his left leg if the circulation does not improve soon. Mark is taking it well, but I can only imagine what he is really going through. Thanks for your prayers. It means a lot to Mark."
Please join us in praying for Mark. I tried calling him on Saturday but the phone at the nurses' station kept ringing and nobody would pick up. However, ApX alum guitarist Tom Milnes was able to get through on Friday. He gave us the following report:
"I spoke with Mark today. He is pleasantly hopeful and positive in the Lord! He ended up encouraging me."
As you may recall, Tom broke his humerus and dislocated his shoulder on April 15. He started rehab three weeks ago and has been doing sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. He has even been able to play guitar again at church services for the past two weeks! Praise the Lord!
