Health Updates on Tom, Jerry, Jimmy & Eve

We have some good news regarding the health status of four members of the ApologetiX team:
As you may recall, on April 15, ApX alum guitarist Tom Milnes suffered a seizure which resulted in a dislocated shoulder and a broken humerus (bone in the upper arm). He had a follow-up appointment with his surgeon on Wednesday.
His wife, Barb, reported the following afterward: "Tom's all done seeing Dr. Tarkin, his surgeon. The doctor was so amazed and said he shouldn't be doing this good."
We also got this update on our friend Jerry Hutchinson (a.k.a. "Jerry Q."), who hosts the weekly radio show ApologetiX with an X with ApX lead singer J. Jackson. As we reported in our last newsletter, Jerry suffered a massive heart attack three weeks ago and had triple-bypass surgery last week.
On Thursday, his son Dustin posted this: "My dad got released from the hospital from Wichita finally. They'll be making their way back Manhattan (KS). Prayers for him and mom needed as he recovers. They will definitely still need help and support, but we're trying figure out what that is and looks like still."
Finally, for those of your who missed our news bulletin earlier this week, we shared an update on ApX drummer and recording engineer Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner and his wife, Eve, who were in a serious motorcycle accident on August 27. Jimmy sent us the following via text Monday afternoon:
"Just got back from my first orthopedic doctor appointment. I had 40 staples removed and updated X-rays. My femur is in five pieces. A rod is holding them all together. He said things are healing/looking good.
"The doctor ordered outpatient physical therapy, which I'm looking forward to. The bone could take months to mend, but I could be be walking with one crutch or cane within a couple weeks.
"I can bend my knee 80 degrees, which is really good! The doctor wants to see me in six weeks for more x-rays and to check on progress. I plan on drumming in the next couple of days. We should be able to get you back in the studio at Red Apple Audio Workshop in a couple weeks. Lord willing.
"Eve is improving as well. All of her injuries are continuing to heal nicely. Sounds little more like herself everyday. She is still on short-term disability as she continues to recover."
We praise God for the great progress reports on Tom, Jerry, Jimmy, and Eve! Thank you all your prayers.
