Funny Story from a Fan in Texas

J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here again.
We received an amusing email Wednesday from a longtime fan in Texas, so I'm going to share it with you, too:I had an AC repair guy over, not long ago, and I was playing the Rush parody of "Limelight" ("Timeline").
"Oh, you're a big fan of Rush, I hear," he said to me, in passing.
"Not exactly," I replied. "That's a parody, by a group called ApologetiX."
"Sounds JUST like Rush"...he replied.
'Sure does," I told him, "except the lyrics. Would you like a FREE copy?"(I was gonna pull one out of my purchase stock I've bought from ApX in past).
"Nah," he replied, "but thanks anyway." And he darted out the door on way to next client's home.
Richard Ell
Katy TX That made me literally LOL. I shared it with a few friends before including it here. Their comments about the runaway AC repairman were equally amusing:
David Michael observed, "He sure was in a Rush to get out of there." Tim Falarski speculated, "He may have taken the CD if AC/DC was on it." Tom Milnes simply said, "Cool."
