Serious Prayer Request from Wichita KS

We received a prayer request this week from a fan in Kansas who is facing some serious challenges:
It's been a long time since last we talked and a lot has happened. My dad has been in and out of the hospital and nursing homes ... the last time around Thanksgiving. He needs a lot of attention, and his feet are swollen from not putting them up so they are infected.
And that's not the worst news I have. The middle of last year, I thought I pulled a muscle in my side and, I thought, from work and lifting him up all the time. I kept aggravating it. I went to the doctor and x-rays showed nothing, Then, four weeks ago, I spent all weekend in severe pain, rolling on the floor for up to an hour, many times a day.
I went to the doctor again, and he sent me to get a sonogram, where he saw what he thought was a small tumor. So I went to the ER and got a CAT scan that revealed a large one (about the size of a fist) on my liver and small spots on my lungs and in surrounding lymph nodes.
I then got a MRI and a biopsy that was sent to the Mayo Clinic (waiting on results). The doctor believes it will come back as stage 4 liver or portal cancer. I went in Friday to have a chemo portal put in my chest to start chemotherapy this week. I would have started it last week, but there is a shortage of the medication (more great news).
I feel that I will not be able to keep my shop running, because I can't work or find any machinist that can do set-ups, so that will mean filing bankruptcy sometime soon.
I know God says He will never give us more than we can handle, but I think He is testing that theory lol. I am doing my best to stay upbeat, and I know my future, but I was hoping to wait a little longer to fill it.
Now, if by some miracle you have some latent machinists skills, you have been hiding or you have Peter's healing powers maybe a lot of prayers by everyone you know will be almost as good. :)
God bless you. I hope things in your life are going well. I have not really been able to keep up. I know … lazy, right? ;)

When we asked Daniel if we could share his email with you, he responded with the following:
Yes, I would really appreciate it. All prayers and support is of benefit. I am still very positive and the passage that we will never taste death is of great comfort. Although I am still not in a hurry to move on, if God has chosen this time for me, then I am willing and want to be a good example of how a Christian faces God's decision.
God bless you and yours. I had hoped to see you perform again; that may have to wait until we all are together with Christ. I will keep you updated.
Please join us in praying for our friend Daniel.
