70-Year-Old ApX Fan Shares Supernatural Testimony

Dennis Knotts is a 70-year-old ApologetiX fan and longtime supporter in California. He's also an author and Bible teacher.
We've corresponded with him many times over the past decade and have found him to be a person who is not prone to making dramatic statements. He shared the following with us in March after we released our parody "E.Z.Kiel," which refuted the unbiblical notion that the visions the prophet Ezekiel saw were UFOs:
"E.Z.Kiel was outstanding! I listened through my headphones, and that moving from the left ear for one verse and then the right ear for the last was great. And the message — I came out of the UFO Cult in my college days. You nailed it.
"I got into UFOs back in 7th grade when a science teacher suggested it for a science fair project. I read and collected comics back then, but never considered UFOs seriously until then. I went from UFOs to unexplained phenomenon, Big Foot, Loch Ness, ESP then haunted houses, witchcraft, demons and the Satanic Church. When I had a visitation offering me a deal is when I came out of it."
Well, we couldn't just read statements like that and not follow up! So we asked Dennis if he would elaborate, and he did:
"One night during college, I was home, and a friend had come over and was sleeping in my room. I was sleeping on the couch in the living room. My parents always left the curtains opened, and there was a shadow by the front door. As I was on the couch, the shadow spread and filled the entire living room until the shadow was between me and the coffee table.
"Two red eyes opened in the shadow, and a voice was in my mind offering that if I gave up my Christian life I could have power, wealth and women. I refused, and the eyes closed, and the shadow receded.
"I took all my UFO, ghost, cult, and even a Satanic Bible I had purchased for research out into the back yard.
"I soaked the Satanic Bible in lighter fluid, tossed it on the BBQ and lit it. All the lighter fluid burned off, and the Satanic Bible was untouched. I started throwing in all my research, files, magazines, pictures and boks. When the last page of my material burned, the Satanic Bible caught fire and burned so hot it scorched the grass under the BBQ. Nothing would grow there for a year.
My father always asked what had happened, but I would not say anything. I went back to several places a week or so later, and all the evidence and proof of ghosts, UFOs, and demons was gone. It's like that entire part of my life never happened.
"This is why there are certain TV shows/movies I cannot watch and books/topics I have to avoid."
Dennis gave us permission to share what he wrote with our readers. Because of the controversial nature of the subject matter, we offered to keep him anonymous if he preferred, but he said the following:
"I have already shared all of this in our School of Ministry in our module on Spiritual Warfare. That was filmed and posted on Facebook and You Tube. I think if there was any damage to my reputation, it has already been done.
"Feel free to use it anyway that God leads you to. Maybe someone else out there can avoid all this in their life."
