Good News from Nebraska Concert Promoter

Randy Nelsen, who set up our July 24 concert in Nebraska, sent us a great follow-up email that we'd like to share with you:
Like I mentioned to you the night of the concert, this was the first time we had tried hosting something on this grand of a scale. Both Kathleen [booking agent for ApologetiX] and you were enjoyable to work with in helping me cover all the details. Meeting you and the rest of the band was a blessing. I hope to see you back in Nebraska in the future, whether it be a concert that someone else is promoting or another one that Warren Church decides to promote.
I have to admit that when I first suggested hosting the concert, I thought perhaps I was being 'selfish,' since I had not seen you guys in concert and figured that the best way to get to see you was to host a concert. However, standing at the door waiting to let people into the sanctuary, I heard story after story about how people were so thankful that our church had brought them to Nebraska. Even after the concert I had a number of people express their thanks. Several people had seen the group in concert at an outdoor venue and were appreciative that this was a small indoor concert.
I was also thankful for your suggestion regarding the Christian Heritage Homes. It was nice to have them attend the concert and be ministered to by your group. One added bonus is that we have established contact with their group homes. One of the directors said they were always looking for events like the Apologetix concert to take their kids to. She asked me to be on the lookout for similar concerts, whether the concerts be at our church or somewhere else.
One last story that I need to tell you is about two sisters and their families. One sister lived in Loveland, CO and the other in Manchester, IA. The family from Iowa was visiting in Colorado. When they arrived, they had driven eight hours from Loveland. They were planning on staying overnight in Lincoln before moving on to Manchester. They told me that they planned their vacation AROUND the concert!
God bless you, the members of the band, and your families."
