Fans Review New CD, "ApologetiX Hits: The Road"
Thu., Dec. 29. 2005 1:17am EST

Now that our new CD, "ApologetiX Hits: The Road," is out, we're getting some great fan feedback. Here are the first three responses we received:

Just got your live CD. It rocks!!!! Keep up the good works! God is using ya guys to reach out. Love all your work , but this LP is da bomb. As one preacher to another.. you go boyz!

blockquote>I got the new CD today and love it! Love the new songs, I'll know all the words by the end of the week ;-) Can't wait for the DVD.

Wow! I love your new cd. It is by far the best one out there. I love the three new songs, and the classics are great. I like the fact that you don't learn a voice and lose it; you get better at it. A great example of this is in "Enter Samson." Well, I can't wait for the dvd. God bless.

"ApologetiX Hits: The Road" includes 20 tracks never before released in live versions, including three new parodies, "With a Harp David Writes," "Walk on the Water," and "Found God." Although it's not available in stores yet, "ApologetiX Hits: The Road" is available in our online store now for only $12.99.

"ApologetiX Hits: The Road" includes 20 tracks never before released in live versions, including three new parodies: "With a Harp David Writes," "Walk on the Water," and "Found God."

As far as the other 17 tracks go, you'll hear the songs the way we do them now that we've had a few years to perfect them. All the tracks were recorded during our 2005 tour, and we generally prefer the live versions to the original. If you liked the live tracks on our "New & Used Hits" CD, you'll enjoy "ApologetiX Hits: The Road."

But none of the live songs from "New & Used Hits" are on "ApologetiX Hits: The Road," so there are no repeats! If you've been to one of our concerts, this CD will give you a keepsake to remember the fun you had until we meet again. If you haven't been to one yet, this CD will give you a taste of what's in store for you. Here's what's on it:

1. We're in a Parody Band (We're an American Band by Grand Funk)
2. Tom Saw Ya (Tom Sawyer by Rush)
3. JC's Mom (Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne)
4. Choose Your Daddy (Who's Your Daddy by Toby Keith)
5. Are You Gonna Be Ike's Girl (Are You Gonna Be My Girl by Jet)
6. All the Stalls Stink (All the Small Things by Blink 182)
7. It's Tough (This Love by Maroon 5)
8. Cheap Birds (Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd)
9. Look Yourself (Lose Yourself by Eminem)
10. Kick in the Wall (Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2 by Pink Floyd)
11. Devil Went Down to Jordan (Devil Went Down to Georgia by Charlie Daniels)
12. Didn't Just Die (Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney & Wings)
13. Died & Rose (China Grove by the Doobie Brothers)
14. Yes Today (Yesterday by the Beatles)
15. I'm a Receiver (I'm a Believer by Smash Mouth)
16. Enter Samson (Enter Sandman by Metallica)
17. Story of a Squirrel ((Absolutely) Story of a Girl by Nine Days)

Plus three brand new tracks:

18. With a Harp David Writes (A Hard Day's Night by the Beatles)
19. Walk on the Water (Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple)
20. Found God (Hound Dog by Elvis Presley)
