From an ApologetiX/Seahawks Fan

Here's a great email we received recently from Morgan Randall in Sammamish WA, a fan of both ApologetiX and the Seattle Seahawks:
I have a deeply theological question: How do you think your Steelers are going to beat the hawks? I just don't see a #6 seed beating a #1 seed. GO HAWKS!
Seahawks fan + ApologetiX fan Morgan :)
Editor's Note: Sorry, couldn't resist! Morgan, I know I wrote you back at the time, but just remember that I've been waiting almost as long (since the Steelers won Super Bowl XIV in January 1980) as you have (since the Seahawks first took the field in 1976). Actually, since I know that you weren't born until late February 1980, I've actually been waiting longer.
Now, just so you know I feel your pain, I went back through some of our old newsletters to show you some of my pre-game quotes in previous playoff years:

(Before AFC Championship loss to New England)
As a nervous Steelers fan (I know we're heavily favored against the Patriots, but I still remember the championship games we lost in '94 and '97 and almost lost in '95), I feel bad for you Packers fans and Bears fans after last week's losses. I was rooting for both of those teams to do well during the season. But now you have no excuse for missing us in Wisconsin this weekend! As it is, we will have to listen to the Steelers game in the van on the way to the concert and during set-up. I don't do well with such stress.
1/8/03
(Before AFC Divisonal Playoff loss to Tennessee)
This weekend, we'll be in Gatlinburg, TN. I hope that all of us Pittsburgh people who go to Tennessee this weekend have a wonderful time ... you football fans know what I'm talking about :)
1/19/05
(Before AFC Championship loss to New England)
Did we mention that this weekend the Steelers are back in the AFC Championship Game again at home? Like 2001, we're playing New England. Like 1998, our last concert before it will be our Dubois concert. Let's hope the similarities end there! We had enough trouble getting our hearts out of our throats last Saturday evening in time for the concert in Indianapolis after the Steelers almost lost to the Jets in the divisional playoff game.
Feel any better now? Don't worry; when it finally happens, it'll be worth it. Trust me; I know. I must confess that even though I rooted for Steelers the whole game (and my whole life), after it was over, I said, "I feel bad for the Seahawks." My wife told me I was hopeless.
You think I'm hopeless? Our bass player, Keith Haynie, and his wife were at the hospital today and met a middle-school-aged girl who hurt her foot because she was sitting on her dad's lap when the Steelers scored a touchdown. He jumped up, unintentionally sending her flying across the room! The girl is doing O.K. now, but Keith may have hurt himself holding back the laughter.
