Greetings from Six Continents
Sun., Feb. 19. 2006 1:35am EST
In the past few weeks, we've receive email from fans in six of the seven continents. What an amazing age we live in! But it does raise the question ... what exactly does Antarctica have against us? Don't they realize that we have Penguins here in Pittsburgh, too? On second thought, with the way our hockey team is playing, maybe they're blaming us for giving penguins a bad name! :)
Anyway, here are messages from the other six continents:

The apologetics program is absolutely a wonderful one and so excited now to be a member of Jesus's organization. I feel very fulfilled to have friends in the states because it's simply about friendship between one another and also to propagate the good news as I will like to call it. Everybody, stay refreshed.... my friend Amanda introduced me to the website ... I welcome any current news from there. Bye.

How exactly do you come up with such atrociously great lyrics? Even I'm inspired to start a Christian parody band.

I had the pleasure today of driving my van, which has a CD player in it. Guess whose CDs I was listening to? Yep. "Spoofernatural." On my way home from work, the CD had just finished and I was about to put it back in its case, when ... "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi came on the radio. Hey! says I. I drove around the block twice while listening, and your lyrics were fresh in my head. You sound almost identical! Wow.
Thanks for being such a great band. Your ministry is truly an inspiration ... I plan on getting all of your cds eventually, through your online store. I want to hear your version of Stayin' Alive. And everything else you have recorded.

I was looking at the possibility of getting ApologetiX to come to Scotland ... We have a one-day festival called Frenzy. Last year over 7000 turned out to see Third Day and the Newsboys top the bill.
A quick question. How much would it cost to get you guys over here to Scotland? If it were possible for you to come and do this show would you give consideration to it even though you have already booked a show elsewhere? Let me know your thoughts. If you are interested I can get you in touch with the promoters of the Frenzy show. Hope you guys are doing okay. God bless.
P.S. Those awful Steelers beat my Broncos!!!

I have an amusing story for you (I think it's amusing, anyways!) My husband and I were in Kelowna, B.C. in a Future Shop a couple of days after Christmas, and "(I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles" came over the sound system. Mike (bless him) cocks his head to one side and says "Hey! Hear that?" I listened for a moment. Mike continued, "Isn't that that song from your What-chu-macall-it album?"
He was quite excited to hear this, being a public place, and all. I was disappointed to inform him that, No, I'm sorry dear, ApologetiX wouldn't be on the radio. It's the original song that ApologetiX parodied. "Are you sure?" he asked. I listened carefully. Nothing about feeding, nothing about the Teacher, nothing about the Love Boat. I repeated that it was indeed not the ApologetiX lyrics, but the original. Mike was disappointed.

How are you? Hope everything is fine with you. I'd like to know if there's any possibility for you to send us your complete discography and DVDs to be given away, and also if you could sign all CDs to be given away to our audience. Those we cracked cases will work for us. We have new cases to replace them. Please let me know about this! God bless you daily!
