1. NEW CHRISTMAS CD READY AT LAST!
We are finishing the Christmas CD today! I mentioned a month or two ago that we hoped to have a Christmas EP/CD out in time for Christmas this season. It looked almost impossible to pull off, but with God all things are possible!
I'm really sorry for the short notice, but I just finished my vocals today on the new tracks ó in fact, after I send out this e-mail, I have to run to the studio and record one final part on one last song, and final mixdown is scheduled for tomorrow.
We're mixing it in house, so we shouldn't have the delays we had last time, plus we only have six tracks to worry about, not 19! The most exciting thing for me is that you'll get to hear these parodies, because we've been wanting to share them with you for a long time ... long before we ever started recording them. They've been written for quite some time, although some of the words got polished up during the recording process.
2. GET THE CHRISTMAS CD IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!
We plan to start shipping CDs on Saturday or Monday. We will ship U.S. Priority Mail to any place in the United States (most orders arrive with two to three days), so if you order within the next few days, you should receive your order by the end of next week. And Christmas isn't until the following Tuesday!

"Micah No. 5" Parody of "Mambo No. 5" by Lou Bega, a huge hit from 1999 ("A little bit of Monica in my life ...")
Talks about the birth of Christ in Bethlehem. This is a really fun track, and one of our best parodies yet!
"Late December 5 or 6 B.C. (Oh Holy Night)" Parody of "December 1963 (Oh What a Night)" by the Four Seasons, a #1 hit in 1976 and a #8 hit in 1994 as a dance remix. Our version is the dance remix.
Talks about the fact that we don't know when Christ's birth was (what month or year), but we DO know that He really was born, and we ought to celebrate Him every day!
"Santa Claus" Parody of "Panama" by Van Halen, a big hit in 1984, and an FM rock staple to this day.
Starts with a kid who thinks Christmas is all about Santa Claus and then focuses on the real Reason for the season.
"Hotel Can't Afford Ya" (ALL-NEW VERSION) Parody of "Hotel California" by the Eagles
Same words as before, but totally re-recorded with new instrumentation, new vocals and some extra stuff you've never heard before! This is the way we WISHED we could have done it back when we recorded "Jesus Christ Morningstar" in 1998. If you liked the first version, you'll LOVE this version!
"Manger" Parody of "Angel" by Shaggy with Rayvon
Same version as the one on "Keep the Change," but we wanted to give you all of the Christmas songs on one CD!
"Christmasnite" Parody of "Kryptonite" by Three Doors Down
Same version as the one on "Keep the Change," but no ApologetiX Christmas CD is complete without this one!
4. LIMITED EDITION SPECIAL OFFER: NOT AVAILABLE IN STORES
This is a special mail-order offer we are making available only to our e-mail newsletter subscribers and their friends and family. It's not available through stores or the website. We hope to have these tracks AND more Christmas songs (Oh, yeah, we have plenty more written) on a full-length Christmas CD next year in stores, but there's no guarantee that we'll have it done by then. This is your chance to get these tracks at least a year in advance!
Because this is a limited-edition CD that we are rush-releasing for Christmas, there is no CD booklet. However, the CD will have a classy full-size label (like the radio promos we did for "Keep the Change," which are fancier than the actual CD), so it will look attractive in the jewel case and/or in your CD binder! This will also make it easy to identify your CD as part of a limited edition. It's actually more expensive for us to do these limited-run CDs than it is to mass produce CDs, but we don't have time to mass produce them and we really want to get these songs into your hands for this Christmas!
