New Single: Old Man & Fearful
Thu., Jul. 24. 2014 12:15am EDT
We've just released two more new parody downloads for a donation.
This single is bold and brassy -- studio recordings of a couple parodies of #2 hits from the 60's and 70's. Special guests include our sound man, Greg Spack, on guitar and bass, plus a three-piece brass section.
1. Old Man (Soul Man by The Blues Brothers)
2. Fearful (Vehicle by The Ides of March)
These two studio recordings are available together as a download for a donation of any amount to the ministry of ApologetiX.

Here's what they're about:
1. Old Man
Growing old can give anybody the blues. But it ain't so bad when you have eternal life and you know this truth: "Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day" (2 Cor. 4:16). God recycles us and breathes new life into us -- kind of like the Blues Brothers did in '78 with this Sam & Dave classic from '67.
2. Fearful
A soothsayer told Julius Caesar to "beware the ides of March," but the Bible tells us not to fear anything but the Lord. In Isaiah 41:10, God tells His people, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7).
We have 15 other sets of downloads for a donation available in our online store, too.
Donations are not tax-deductible but will be used immediately. Thanks!
