ApologetiX in MO, CA, KY, WI & NM
Thu., Jun. 12. 2003 11:02pm EDT

J. Jackson, lead singer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band) here.

June is anniversary month for 75 percent of ApologetiX. Last week, my wife, Lisa, and I celebrated our anniversary. This week our bass player Keith and his wife, Krista, and our drummer, Bill, and his wife, Chris, celebrated their anniversaries. Our guitarist/producer Karl and his wife, Debbie, will celebrate their anniversary in July.

Special note: This was Bill & Chris' tenth anniversary, so to commemorate the event, they went away on vacation. In fact, Bob Flaherty (our drummer from 1995-98 and on the "Ticked" CD) filled in for Bill in Los Angeles Monday when we played a mini "live" set on the "Warren Duffy Live" radio show on KKLA.

Bill will be back in action with us this weekend in Missouri and California, and Bob will be coming along for the ride. If you'd like to send Bill a note, his email is bill@apologetix.com. As an alumnus of ApologetiX, Bob's email is bob@apologetix.com.

We recently received this note from Barry Miller, host of the the Christian rock program at WVRG, a country station in West Virginia:

"We have declared June Apologetix month. We have one in studio interview planned and the rest of the month will be for ApologetiX. We plan on playing the song then discussing the lyrics. I believe this will be a very fun way to share the gospel!"
