This Past Weekend in CA & NV
Mon., Jun. 22. 2009 11:24am EDT

This past weekend, we played our 25th and 26th California concerts ever, but only our second in Nevada, with shows in Redding CA, Grass Valley CA, and Sparks NV.

Here's a note we received Monday from one of the coordinators of our concert in Sparks NV

Thanks for a great concert last night. Your flexible and servant-hearted spirit was a blessing to our church.

Pastor Brad Dryness
Sparks Nazarene Church
Sparks NV
Here is some fan mail we've received from this past weekend:
I was so blessed to be able to see you guys in concert in Redding CA. I have been a fan of your music since 1997, I believe. I am confident all those that where here were touched. I know I was! Had my ankle not been broken two days ago I would have been right up front singing and dancing with you! Your call is so powerful and reaches out and touches so many.

Jared Tilley (Sparkplug)
Redding CA

Thank You for another uplifting and fun concert last night in Grass Valley. I have been a fan for many years and I wanted to say thank you! There was a miracle there last night; Grandma never sings and she did last night, "I Love Apostle Paul!" Me, of course, I sing along with you -- I have every album, Me the big bald guy! Had a great time!

Dan Mathisen
Gridley CA

My husband and I saw you for the first time tonight in Grass Valley CA. I really wanted to thank you for a great show. You sounded great live. I enjoyed every song! Tom's testimony was also a great addition. It is so nice to get the personal touch from the band. We traveled from the San Francisco bay area to see the show and were not disappointed. I hope you will return to CA before too long.

Chris Swanson
Castro Valley CA

We just wanted to tell you how much fun we had last night in Grass Valley. We drove up from Yuba City as my Father's Day gift from my family. I've been following your email blogs and updates for years and love your music! My son got on stage for the "Heavenly Hills" song and has not stopped singing it since. Keep working your stuff and spreading the gospel in such a wonderful and fun way!

Jerry Henry and Family (Connor, Emily, Carly and Trisha)
Yuba City CA
Special thanks to:

Our concert coordinators: Pastor Beau Chambers and James Sutton (Redding); Pastor Adam Click (Grass Valley), and Pastor Brad Dryness and Pastor John Luce (Sparks).

Our chauffeurs: Beau and James (Redding); Adam, Mike, Leslie (Grass Valley); and Patrick, Dwayne, and John (Sparks).

Our merchandise coordinators: Ryan and Spike (Redding); Mike (Grass Valley); and Eric (Sparks).

Our sound crews: Dave (Redding); Randy, Kevin, and Vince (Grass Valley); John, Patrick, and Dwayne (Sparks).

Honorable mention to:

Larry Davis, who flew all the way from Columbiana OH to attend our concerts in Grass Valley and Sparks. Larry has now seen us 126 times in 20 states/provinces.

Jerry and Deanna Moore, who drove from Newberg OR to all three concerts this past weekend -- a round trip totaling over 1300 miles. They also coordinated our concert in Newberg OR last month. And they wrote even us an email afterward about the experience:
My wife, Deanna, and I just finished up the "Triquetra Trifecta" with your three most recent concerts in CA & NV. You brought the house down three nights in a row and blew us all away in the process.

It was awesome to hang out and get to know you all better. We want to thank you again for using the musical talents that God has given to each of you to bless your fans and "redeem" the world's music for the glory of God! Keep on rockin' for Jesus!

Jerry & Deanna Moore
Newberg OR
(1310 miles total and 22:46 hours of driving time! Worth every minute of it!)
