What a Bunch of Losers

Back in June, we included an article about praying to God when you lose something. We were delighted to discover how many of you do the same thing, with great results. It looks like we're all a bunch of losers ... and finders.
Here's a cool email we received about that from a longtime fan with a great testimony:I read your newsletter to April this morning and she immediately understood why I liked it so much, it reminds me of a story that I've shared with my children.
When I was a teenager my dad made me a ring. I adored that ring so I wore it all the time (my brother and sister lost theirs right away). One day the ring went missing. I don't know how or why but it was gone and I was devastated. I searched the entire day without success and when it came time to bow down beside my bed and pray that night, I got indignant. I blamed God because my ring was lost(not sure how that made sense even to a young girl) and I decided that I would not bow down and pray again until He helped me find my ring.
You can imagine how horrible I felt, having lost my Best Friend and my ring but I was stubborn for an entire week. Finally I broke down and tearfully knelt beside my bed and apologized, it felt great! When I finished praying I just remained there with my eyes closed for a few moments. When I opened my eyes, forehead still laying on my bed, I saw my ring -- it was on the rail of my bed beside the mattress where I always prayed.
If I had only bowed and prayed sooner ... well, you get it. Hard lessons are the ones we never forget and that one had a great ending. Still have no idea how my ring got there, probably my brother or sister. We all know nothing's too big for God -- wonder why we have so much trouble seeing that nothing is too small?
