ApologetiX producer Bill Hubauer has long been a fan of progressive rock, a "thinking man's" style of music first made famous by such artists as Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, and Emerson, Lake & Palmer. In fact, before joining ApologetiX, Bill was also leader of the acclaimed Christian progressive rock band Ten point Ten.
Now Bill has progressed to a new level -- he's been selected to play keyboards, violin, and saxophone in the touring band of one of his heroes -- renowned progressive rock musician Neal Morse. This summer that tour will take Bill to places as diverse as the Cornerstone Music Festival in Illinois and the Iso Soitto Festival in Finland.
Morse first found fame with Spock's Beard, one of the more successful progressive rock bands of the late 90's, and Transatlantic, a progressive-rock supergroup that also featured members of Dream Theater, Marillion, and The Flower Kings. He became a born-again Christian in 2002 and embarked on a successful solo career.
