ApologetiX in McGaheysville VA, Lancaster PA
Wed., Mar. 19. 2003 11:19pm EST

J. Jackson, lead singer for ApologetiX (That Christian Parody Band) here.

Thanks to everybody who came out to see us in Cleveland! You guys made us all feel right at home, and I just realized that we forgot to sing "How You Rewind Me." You Browns fans would have had a blast with the "couldn't cut it as a Pittsburgh Steeler" line.

Karl has asked me to let you know that all back orders of the new t-shirt designs (Story of a Squirrel, Enter Samson, Keep the Change and Grace Period) have now shipped and we're almost ready to open those shirts to the general public. (They were only open to fans and a few concert goers thus far.) Thanks again for your patience!

5. CD SALE: ALL EIGHT APOLOGETIX TITLES

A month and a half ago, we ran a cracked CD sale and received an overwhelming response. Then we made the offer available again two weeks ago, and I am still receiving emails asking if the sale is still on, so we've decided to extend the sale a little bit longer to accommodate everyone.

We have a limited supply of CDs with cracked cases that we are selling at a greatly reduced rate. All seven of our titles are available. All of the CDs and booklets are in perfect shape. The cases are in various degrees of disrepair, some are in near-perfect shape while some don't even have cases, but all of them have the CD, the booklet and the tray card, so all you need is a CD case in good condition. I will autograph all of the CDs to help make up for the broken cases.

For a limited time only, we are making them available to our e-mail subscribers for $7 each. We are also putting our remastered "Have Yourself a Parody Little Christmas" six-song CDs on sale for a limited time for $7 each.

Mail orders only. Sorry, no credit cards. Please make checks/money orders payable to ApologetiX.

Shipping & handling is a flat rate of $5 for your entire order, no matter how many you order.

Simply print out this e-mail and fill out the form below and send it in along with your check/money order to the address at the bottom of the order form.

We must receive your check/money order before we ship. Don't worry about contacting us by e-mail. Just send the form via postal mail and include your name and address.

8. PRAYER REQUEST

Please pray for our former drummer, Fred Behanna, and his daughter, Beth, who have really been having a difficult time. Beth has been through Hodgkin's Disease, and has had relapses several times, although each time doctors have been able to make it go away. Now the Hodgkin's is back, but on top of that, her boyfriend, Eric, whom she first met while going for treatments, died last week after a relapse with Hodgkin's. The doctors believe that Beth's relapse is quite treatable, but the heartache that Beth is going through right now has got to be unbelievable. I've met Beth, and Fred has often told us about what a strong faith she has had ever since being a young girl. However, as Fred puts it, Eric was the "light of her life" and she stayed by his side in the hospital for about four weeks as things got progressively worse. We can only imagine their loss. Please pray for Beth, for Eric's family and for Fred. You can email Fred at fred@apologetix.com

Apologetically,

J.

1 Samuel 17:34-37
But David said to Saul, "Your servant has been keeping his father's sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The LORD who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine."
