ApologetiX Needs Help for Christmas
Thu., Dec. 22. 2016 12:36pm EST
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here again.
Though I sing on CDs, I sound like a broken record. Four of the last five Christmases, I've had to send appeal letters. Uh, make that five of the last six.
Sorry, we need help and prayers again. ApX has some big expenses due, and they're over six months behind on my paychecks. I don't expect to catch up on all of that, but I need some of it.
That's why we're running a half-off sale now on our CDs, DVD, and songbook. But that only brings in so much. I've been reading Billy Graham's autobiography and he says:
"We have always felt we should tell people straightforwardly what the financial situation is and then trust God's promise that He 'will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus' (Phil. 4:19)."
That's how I feel, too. I consider Billy's ministry (and countless others) far more vital than ours. But I'm doing what I feel led and equipped to do. It's up to God to determine our impact,
We're slated to have released 51 new tracks by the end of 2016, with two more to start off 2017. And lately, I feel like God has turned on the lyrics spigot again.
New topics for upcoming songs include: political correctness, sin, doubt, Psalm 19, 1 Samuel 30, Lot's wife, cults, Leviticus, First John, gnosticism, and much more, Lord willing.
If you'd like to help us in this ministry, any of these will help:
1. Pray (don't underestimate that)
2. Get our CDs, DVDs, singles, etc. at apologetix.com/store
3. Give online: http://www.apologetix.com/store/store-donate.php
4. Give by mail: ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15214
Donations aren't tax deductible but are appreciated more than you can imagine. Thank you!
If you're strapped, don't worry about us; we'll pray for you. We'll also be happy to send you some free music downloads. To email me or to unsubscribe, send your message to j@apologetix.com.
