Clues for Sunday's Single
Fri., Jan. 20. 2017 9:39am EST
We're planning to release our second single of 2017 Sunday night, Lord willing. Here are your clues to the contents:
Despite gradually losing grip on his throne, King Saul wouldn't let go or concede the election to David, even though God did the electing. As for David, he wasn't about to keep holding on where he was unwanted, so he went mobile, joining the Philistines. To find out what happened next, listen here and read 1 Sam. 27-31, if it's not too much to ask.
Luke 17:32 is one of the Bible's shortest verses (three words in most translations — no more, no less). Fittingly, it's about not wasting time looking back at the world you knew, because Christ could come at any time to take you to your next homecoming in Heaven. That's heavy stuff, and we ought to listen lest we overwhelmingly exceed our daily dosage of salt, like Lot's wife.
Once the new single is released, we'll announce it on our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
We currently have 74 other sets of downloads available for a donation of any size, including our previous release, "Doubt is Not Allowed" and "I Feel the Earth Proves."
To get any of these projects, go to http://apologetix.com/store and select the download you want for whatever amount you wish to donate.
