Why Does ApologetiX Need Help Now?

J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.
As a kid, I hated when PBS did fundraising, because it interrupted my life. Same for my kids. Now I have to do it for ApologetiX. That's the worst.
But I need to raise funds right now, so we can pay our band members and me. Unfortunately, our new single's delayed, because I got sick and can't sing the second song yet.
Like PBS, everyone can access ApX for free (YouTube, music streaming, file sharing), but someone has to pay for it. Ultimately, that Someone is God, but He does so through our fans.
Also like PBS, we provide a unique type of educational entertainment that's unavailable elsewhere. But ours is loaded with life-changing scripture.
Christian educational resources are getting scarcer. Family Christian Stores, the world's largest Christian-focused retailer recently announced they're closing all their stores.
People sometimes note that our newsletter goes to 65,000 fans, so if each gave $1, it would be huge. If only it were that simple! Actually, only about 2500 fans read any given issue.
All told, 998 different people donated to ApX last year. Some gave once, some multiple times, and some every month. Many gave a dollar, many gave much more. But God provided it all.
We always seem to get just enough to take care of our expenses and carry us till the next time we need to ask. This is that time. If you want to help, any of these will help:
1. Pray (the most important thing)
2. Get our CDs, DVDs, USBs, singles, etc. at apologetix.com/store
3. Give online: http://www.apologetix.com/store/store-donate.php
4. Give by mail: ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15214
Donations aren't tax deductible but their effect is priceless. Thank you!
