Steffi's Story: 12 Years of ApX in AZ

A couple of weeks ago, we shared the testimony of a blind fan in Arizona and his son, who both flew to see us in Green Bay WI for our 25th Anniversary Concert Midwest. Here's a great email we got this week from another longtime fan and friend in Arizona who has literally gone for the distance for ApX:
Thank you for blowing me towards Heaven (in a manner of speaking) with your latest music: From Hair to Eternity. I love it! Steffi and her parents, Bill and Connie, have been incredible encouragers to us over the years via email, snail mail, and in person at concerts. Back in 2012, when we took too long to make it back to Arizona, they travelled 1100 miles to see us in Oklahoma! We praise God for the gift of such good friends.
The last week of October this year, my parents and I went on a little road trip getaway, and while in our van, we passed a very familiar place. My mom pointed it out to me with a smile, and reminded me -- it was a Calvary Chapel bookstore -- the exact very place she and I visited in January 2006 where she and I found our very first ApologetiX CD!
I lit up with a huge happy smile as memories returned to my mind and heart: that day in 2006, Mom handed me Jesus Christ Morningstar, and as I looked at it, something on the back caught my attention: "ApologetiX specializes in Biblical legal parodies of popular songs." I knew immediately what you did right then, (I think the Holy Spirit told me) but I didn't believe it ... yet.
Mom and I got in the car, and our curiosity got the best of us. :) We put it on, and as soon as my mom and I heard "Temple Physician," we both started laughing out loud! Mom laughed so hard she was crying in a great way. We came home, shared the new music with my dad …
Then on June 18th, 2006, we met officially at my first ApologetiX concert. Now; it's eight concerts altogether for me.
I still think about and pray for you very often. Praying that if it's the Lord's will, hoping to sing along with you again in person soon.
P.S. We tried so hard and wanted so badly to come to one of your two Anniversary concerts, but we were very sad that we could not … until we read about that precious blind man who attended and greatly represented Arizona for us too. We really cheered up after reading about him in your newsletter! :)
