ApX Needs Holiday Help & Prayers
Mon., Nov. 27. 2017 12:42pm EST
J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday. Apparently, it's been around since 2012. I'm five years late finding out, and one day early sending an appeal letter. But I didn't plan this for that.
Unfortunately, we're also late with a number of band bills. And ApX is six months behind in paying me, so that means I'm late with some family bills. And there are many more bills to come, plus Christmas.
After our last appeal letter, I got hit with three trips to the repair shop and the dealer with our 2009 minivan, costing about $3400. God provided, but I'm just giving an example of where the money goes.
It seems like each appeal carries us for about two months and, believe it or not, that's how long it's been.
The good news is we've just released our 21st single of 2017. And there are many more parodies to come, too, Lord willing. We have quite a few in various stages of the recording process, plus two more CDs in the works.
We look forward to sharing them with you and hope you'll share them with friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and strangers ... reaching the lost and teaching the rest.
If you'd like to help us carry on, there are different ways you can do so:
1. Pray
2. Get our CDs, singles, DVDs, USBs, shirts, lapel pins, songbook, etc. at apologetix.com/store
3. Give online: http://www.apologetix.com/store/store-donate.php
4. Give by mail: ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15214
Donations aren't tax deductible, but anything you give makes an impact. Thank you!
Please only give if you feel led. We know times are tough, and Christmas is coming. And if you need prayer or some free music downloads, please email me at j@apologetix.com.
