Encouragement from a Former Atheist in Iowa

Iowa is the top corn-producing state in the country, so it shouldn't be surprising when Iowans appreciate our corny sense of humor, just as Wisconsinites appreciate our cheesiness. But this Facebook message we received was from the Hawkeye State was very sincere, and we wanted to share it with you:I used to be a full-fledged atheist with a bitterness and anger toward the Christian movement. I was King Herod and the Saul that became Paul rolled up in one. But in my college years, I had a change of heart at the hands of certain people, and everything changed. I was a big fan of many secular musicians that had vulgar and dirty lyrics in their material and I came to realize I had to turn my back on a lot of that.
Then the ApologetiX music ministry came along and re-recorded all of my favorites from way back when and allowed me to enjoy it all over again without all the raunchiness. Their material also makes many Bible references and has multiple Biblical messages for us. This has become a fun and clever way to encourage us to look in the scriptures.
What is even more ironic is that this time they did it with a Sex Pistols parody where the original version has an Anti-Christ message, and they were known to be one of the most controversial and dirtiest bands around back in their prime.
I currently have 1114 parodies in my collection now consisting of ApologetiX, Mark Bradford, Truth Be Told, Petrafried, Duke Stogner, Ron Perry, Trachead Family, Pastor Brad, Nick Carpenter, Josh Goodman, etc.
Hey, ApologetiX: Keep up the good work and keep rocking! The bigger your library gets, the cooler you guys become. I wish for this message to go out to past and present band members, their family and friends, and anyone else who has a hand in making ApologetiX magic happen.
