Kenya Believe It? ApX is "Greatest Band Ever"

Getting a CD order from Africa is always cool, but when it's from a missionary who says stuff like this, it's extra-double cool:I think y'all are the greatest band ever! Is there any chance that I could possibly get a digital copy of my bonus CD, Xit Ego Lopa? You see I am here in Kenya, East Africa, and the CDs are going to my daughter (your second biggest fan after me) in Texas. It will be quite some time before we see her again so I won't be able to hear that CD until then. If not that's ok, y'all are worth the wait!
In His service,
Rev. Gary Jessen We were happy to send Rev. Gary the downloads links, and when we asked if we could share his message with you or if he needed to keep his missionary work covert, he said the following:I had to laugh when you asked if we were working covertly because there is absolutely nothing covert in our small fishing village of Matoso. Everyone knows everyone else's business. Please feel free to include anything you want in your newsletter.
I have been listening to the new album while working in our school's office. I am really impressed with the level if craftsmanship. Musically I can't tell the difference between you and the original. Your lyrics though encourage me in a way the original songs never did.
I especially loved "Straight Street." Hearing that for the first time brought back great memories of hanging out with my friends on the street in front of our house as a teenager. It's nice to remember those times, but Luke 9:62 tells me I need to look forward not back. So that's what I am doing, looking forward to more great music from my favorite band, ApologetiX. God bless you, and I continue to pray for your ministry all the time.
I don't know if I told you before but we run a trade school here. We teach auto mechanics, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, hairdressing & beauty therapy, dressmaking, tailoring, and computers. Our goal is to try and give our students hope and a future. Many of them have only completed eighth grade with no chance of going onto high school and no real job prospects.
Now after they complete our three-year program, they can be licensed by the Kenyan government in their field of study and find a job or open their own business. We currently have close to 90 students. Of course, we also look after their spiritual growth with classes in the Bible, a Christian students group, and nightly devotions/praise and worship.
Well, I'd better get back to work, and now I'll have even more ApologetiX music to listen to while I work. I pray you have a wonderful night (your time). God bless you! Editor's note: Isn't that wild? Praise the Lord!
