We Need Help (Tales of Tall Strangers)

J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX again.
Monday, my wife was approached in the city by a tall stranger, asking for money for food. They talked a bit, then she gave him a generous donation. He told her his name, hugged her, and thanked her. She looked him up online later; turns out she may have unwittingly helped a fugitive.
Tuesday, that same woman posted the following on Facebook: "My husband truly does have a faith that drives out fear. I admire that about him." Sounds like she's the one with faith that drives out fear. I'm glad she feels that way about me, but right now, I'lll admit I'm stressed. Why?
Once again, ApX has a number of large bills due immediately, and I can't pay them, let alone pay what ApX owes me. I've been praying for days, we've run a couple of sales, but we still need help.
To many of you, I'm a tall stranger, asking for money. How do you know we're legit? Why do we always seem to be in need? All I can do is point to the fruit. What is the lyrical, spiritual, and musical quality of the parodies we're producing and what kind of impact are they having?
I've written several articles below to address those things. You'll see what we've been working on, what we've got planned, and what fans are telling us. Speaking of which, an Indiana man who works for a faith-based private school (as does his wife) emailed us recently and said this:"We completely understand the necessity of raising money from donors. I appreciate your method of asking for help. You simply state the facts of your need, and leave the tip jar at the door for anyone who feels led to give cheerfully.
"And you bless the ones who can't or don't give; I'm fairly sure that if I fall upon lean times in years to come and ask for one of your new songs you would simply send it to me." That guy "gets" us. If you "get" us and would like to help us get through this current time, any of these things will help:
1. Pray
2. Get singles, CDs, DVDs, etc. at http://apologetix.com/store
3. Get our USBs at http://apologetix.com/store/store.php#USB
4. Give online at http://apologetix.com/store/store-donate.php
5. Give by mail: ApologetiX, 208 Charlemma Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15214
Donations aren't tax deductible, and please only give if you feel led and are able.
