Clues for This Weekend's Single
Fri., Dec. 14. 2018 9:53am EST
We plan to release our 22nd single of 2018, this weekend, Lord willing. We got the tracks to Wayne early this time. One song is already mixed and approved, and he's presently working on the other.
Here are your clues. Think you know the artists we're covering? See if you can find all 18 references.
SONG #1
As we celebrate Christ's first advent, it's important to remember He'll eventually come back down to earth for a big finale, even though it seems so long since last time. It won't be as a baby, and if you really love Him you won't need another star to ascertain His whereabouts. Don't you worry about a thing; you will know. He'll make sure you're sure.
SONG #2
Joseph's wife, Mary, was a small-town girl, but her son was no natural child. In the midst of an incredible state of affairs, an angel told Joseph to rise up and take the old road down to Egypt, where they could all have a good life in hiding. Herod was bound to fall eventually, and once he did, they could make like a boomerang and return.
Once the new single is released, we'll announce it on our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
We currently have 116 other sets of downloads available for a donation of any size, including our previous release, "Marry Mary" and "Turn Up the Ray of Hope," featuring parodies of The Monkees and Autograph.
To get any of these projects, go to http://apologetix.com/store/singles.store.php#singles and select the download you want for whatever amount you wish to donate.
