Clues for This Weekend's Single
Sat., May. 25. 2019 1:34pm EDT
We plan to release our ninth single of 2019 by the end of this weekend, Lord willing. Here are your clues. Think you know the artists we're spoofing? Then see how many references you can find.
SONG #1
Sometimes we have high hopes and dreams we want fulfilled right now but God gives us a red light. "Don't make me wait," we cry. But Father knows best. Don't fight it; He may be keeping you out of a danger zone. Remember the heroes of the Old Testament who waited on Him. What they wouldn't give to live a life like ours, knowing Jesus personally.
SONG #2
Exodus 20:7 gives us an understanding why we should be trying to live a life without using the Lord's name in vain. Even now, we've got two nice New Testament reminders of the holiness of His name in Matt. 6:9 and Luke 11:12. It's the only name that saves men from the fiery lake in the famous final scene. But some men go just where they want.
Once the new single is released, we'll announce it on our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
We currently have 126 other sets of downloads available for a donation of any size, including our previous release, "Midlife Confession" and "Do You Know What I Dreamed?" featuring parodies of The Grass Roots and Lee Michaels.
To get any of these projects, go to http://apologetix.com/store/singles.store.php#singles and select the download you want for whatever amount you wish to donate.
