Title and Theme of Our Next CD

The master recording for our next CD is already at the manufacturer, and we plan to get final artwork to the printer this weekend, Lord willing. We'll be taking orders soon.
The title is Sandwich Platter, and it includes 12 songs from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. We've released 22 songs since New Year's Eve, but 10 of those will have to wait for a future CD. However, for thematic reasons, we didn't just take the first 12 of the 22.
Judging by the opening and closing tracks on this CD, you might think we were loafing around when we put it together, but there's not a grain of truth to that. Actually, a lot of work went into "Broke a Loaf of Bread" and "A Day in the Loaf." But it wasn't till later that we noticed the similarity in titles.
That's when we decided to turn the CD into a sandwich. Putting "A Day in the Loaf" last was a no-brainer, considering its crescendo and famous final chord, but it also seemed sensible to put "Broke a Loaf of Bread" first. That way we'd open and close with piano, coming in like a lamb and going out like a lion.
Noting the nature of some of the people portrayed in the songs herein (Peter, Paul, Mephibosheth, Eve, The Prodigal Son), we almost changed the title to "Antihero Sandwich," but we stuck with "Sandwich Platter" since all the songs spoofed on this CD were originally released on vinyl records (a.k.a. "platters").
It's our 55th CD and should arrive just in time for ApX lead singer/lyricist J. Jackson's 55th birthday (July 2), so we've included a parody of "I Can't Drive 55" about one of his favorite chapters, Isaiah 55. Meanwhile, ApX lead guitarist Tom Tincha will still be 55 till September 17, so they'll both share this sandwich with you.
