Clues for Our Next Single
Thu., Jun. 20. 2019 9:27pm EDT
We intend to release our 11th single of 2019 on Sunday night, Lord willing. In the meantime, peruse these clues. If you think you've figured out the artists we're spoofing, then see how many references you can find.
SONG #1
Acts 2 says tongues of fire and the sound of a mighty wind let the Apostles know the Holy Spirit had come on in. Those telltale signs left them breathless, but not speechless. Acts 4 is another place another time when the Spirit came once more with feeling (there was a whole lot of shaking going on). Does He have an invitation to your party?
SONG #2
Israel broke God's covenant, but it's all right. In Jeremiah 31:31, He announced Plan B for Jacob's latter-day descendants. It involved a change of heart -- not God's heart, but man's. In HIs foreknowledge, He'd always known we'd all fall short of loving Him with all of our heart and soul. But He had a perfect solution for this imperfect world.
Once the new single is released, we'll announce it on our website, Facebook, and Twitter.
We currently have 128 other sets of downloads available for a donation of any size, including our previous release, "Something from Nothing" and "That's Unbelief," featuring parodies of Billy Preston and Bad Company.
To get any of these projects, go to http://apologetix.com/store/singles.store.php#singles and select the download you want for whatever amount you wish to donate.
