A Dozen Long-Stemmed Reasons to Carry On
Fri., Jul. 5. 2019 12:21pm EDT

In the preamble, we discussed some of the reasons we keep doing what we do. But there are many more. Here are a dozen long-stemmed reasons sent to us in the past month or so from fans in 10 states … and New Zealand. If you take the time to read them, we think you'll see why we feel compelled to carry on :

I am so glad God brought ApologetiX into my life. You guys have gotten me through some rough patches. Thank you very much.

Chad Burris
Indianapolis IN

I really appreciate your music and the meaningful lyrics. I am a delivery driver and I have your music on for my entire run and have already passed on some of your CDs to my clients. The ones I have really enjoyed the music and messages.

Andy Broome
Levin, New Zealand

I appreciate your ministry and that you guys continue to persevere through all obstacles, trusting God. In God's economy, everyone gets refined, especially the ministers. Thanks for your example of endurance. Keep pressing on!

You guys are a huge blessing to me and many friends that I have, and I don't want you to ever ever get discouraged, because what you do is shed the truth of God's word with your songs. Keep rewriting songs that the secular artists write. They write good songs; they just use the wrong words. You guys fix them to the glory of God. Amen! We love you guys.

Crystal MI

I have been a fan of yours since I first heard you guys back in 2004. We were doing some clean-up at our church and someone put your CD in the church's sound system. At first I thought I was just listening to some classic rock. Once I paid attention to the actual words I said, "This is awesome!"

I think what you guys do is amazing. I have lots of favorites but the two songs I will mention are "The Real Sin Savior," because you took a very, very un-Christian song and made it about Jesus and "People," because it makes me think of the original apostles and how strongly they believed. If they didn't doubt any of it, how can I?

Eric Delwiche
Colorado Springs CO

I can't express how much I enjoy listening to your music and especially the look on people's faces when the finally realize what they are hearing instead of what they thought they were listening to.

Ken Millson
Martinez CA

I got your CDs (Easter Standard Time and Double Take) a couple months ago. I was really impressed. They sounded better than the record. You guys are so professional. Keep the faith, and I will always be praying for you guys!

Randy Knupp
Johnstown PA

Your music is so dang fun! I am honored to declare that your music is awesome! The humor, energy, and truth in every song is fantastic! I could go on. And if you are ever in Montana, I would be happy to give you a free air tour over Yellowstone Park.

Our family is headed to the state homeschool convention, and we're catching up on ApologetiX songs! I just had to send a note and tell you "Bad Foreign Girls," "On the Road, Away From Home," "That's Saul," "Once We're Over the Line," and "Read Isaiah" are making me sooooo happy! Great job, guys!!!!!

My dad and uncles paid their way through college doing covers in their band, so I grew up hearing all the great 60's and 70's music at family gatherings. My favorite musical eras!

We have a had a slightly stressful past few weeks and it's so wonderful to have something to listen to that is musically and spiritually edifying! Thanks for brightening our day!

We have five kids ages 8 and under and their collective favorite song is "Take Me Home, Country Roads." They ask for it like 12 times a day. So they appreciated the parody.

I just saw Weird Al in concert yesterday and as good as he is, which he is very good, it doesn't minister to my soul as the parodies released by ApologetiX have done. I enjoy your work and have created a YouTube Playlist to be played at the funeral or memorial service for me.

I also had the opportunity to go to India this year to see some friends I had never met before. Their hospitality was amazing, even for the pastors I met who lived in the slums of Mumbai! A great experience as I serve on the Board of Light India Ministries based here in Oklahoma of all places!

God is good! All the time, God is good! Keep doing what you are doing as I am confident many folks, hundreds of thousands, have been blessed by the music of ApologetiX!

I have seen ApologetiX live three times and hope to see the band again in person. I thank you for remaining faithful to the Ministry that God has given to you.

I'm sure someday in heaven you will see the many lives you've touched with your music. It's funny — your songs are what you're known for, but I was blown away when I started listening to some of your podcasts and live recordings with you speaking. I think it's probably a very underused part of ApX.

I pray God will continue to bless you and inspire all of you in your service to Him. I thank God for all of you, who inspire us to continue in our walk with God through your music.

When I am going through my trials and tribulations, your music carries me through it, because of what God has done through you. May God bless you all and keep you. May HIs light continue to shine through you!
