Good News, Bad News & Ugly News
Tue., Jul. 9. 2019 12:37pm EDT
We have good news, bad news, and ugly news:
Good: Our new CD came earlier than expected and all orders have been sent out.
Bad: Our new single is delayed because our webmaster had to be hospitalized.
Ugly: We still need help and prayer.
1. NEW CD in STOCK: BUY 1 GET 1 of 29 FREE ENDS SOON
Our 55th CD, Sandwich Platter, arrived on July 3, the day after J.'s 55th birthday. Our manufacturer had thought it would be late because of an unexpected backlog on their end, but they were able to get it to us on time after all. Praise the Lord!
All orders have been shipped out, so there's no backlog here. But if you want to take advantage of our "buy one get one" deal, it ends soon. http://apologetix.com/store/store.php#Sandwich
Order now and get a free Sandwich Platter CD with every Sandwich Platter CD you order. Want a different title as your free CD(s)? Choose from 28 other titles at http://apologetix.com/news/news-details.php?news_id=3847
The free CD(s) won't appear in your shopping cart but will be mailed with your order. We'll also email you the link for the download version of Sandwich Platter now.
2. NEW SINGLE DELAYED, WEBMASTER HOSPITALIZED
The artwork and MP3s for our new single were ready on Sunday, as planned. Unfortunately, our webmaster, John Taylor, had to be taken to the emergency room on both Saturday and Sunday, and he's been hospitalized ever since.
John deals with a number of medical issues, and he's been having trouble keeping food down for a couple weeks now. We got an update from his wife this morning and she said:
"John is still going to be in the hospital and is getting sick still on clear liquids. They did give the gallbladder test and praise the Lord it's not functioning well. So now they're just consulting as to what is the best course of action. That's actually good news!"
We think she said that's good news because it's not something worse, and now the doctors can focus on something that is treatable. Please pray for John. He is one of the nicest people we've ever met and a vital part of the ApX team.
3. WE STILL NEED HELP and PRAYER
We had to send out an appeal letter last week. With the extended holiday weekend in the middle of summer vacation, it wasn't the greatest timing, so response hasn't been as great as usual. That, combined with the fact that we can't release our new single till our webmaster is back in action, has us in a bit of tight spot.
If you missed last week's newsletter, you can see the reasons for the appeal letter and a really encouraging article with 12 testimonies from fans in 10 states and New Zealand at http://www.apologetix.com/news/newsletter-details.php?nl_id=806.
