Important Prayer Requests from Three Fans
Sun., Oct. 3. 2021 4:14pm EDT
For the past two weeks, we've been asking you to pray on behalf of ApX fan Lynn Turner of Ontario, Canada, whose husband, Bill, began experiencing symptoms of COVID on August 29 and has been on a ventilator since September 11. This past Thursday evening, Lynn told us the following:
I'm not sure I can say 'no news is good news,' but it's not worse news so does that count? Bill's kidneys are still shut down, so the dialysis is doing their job for them and his lungs are still needing A LOT of support so the ECMO is doing their job for them. And the ventilator is still pretty high.
I am a bit concerned as Bill has no allergies and suddenly broke out in a rash today. The dietician called and asked me if he was allergic to anything and I said not to my knowledge. So, as of now, they don't know why he has the rash.
But the one positive thing I can share is he had one negative COVID test. He needs 2 to be declared COVID free. Now I don't know if that really changes anything, but I'm sure it's good somehow.
In addition to all that Bill is going through, Lynn is facing a number of other situations in which she needs wisdom and divine intervention. We can't go into details here, but she shared them with us, and God obviously knows. Please pray for her.
In addition, received the following prayer request from Bonnie Podnar in Coraopolis PA:
I am asking you to please put a couple of people on your prayer list. My sister-in-law's mom, Ruth, and her stepdad, Harley, both have COVID. Ruth is doing better than when they started, but Harley is doing very badly. They had to ask Ruth's permission to strap him down because he's trying to pull out his tubes.
JaneAnn is my sister-in-law, and her brother, Brooks, has also came down with it. That family seems cursed. Her Aunt Rose is fighting cancer, and when they get one cleared out, they find another. Needless to say, JaneAnn and my brother, Bill, can use prayers because everything is falling on their heads. They just had the loss of JaneAnn's grandfather that they are still dealing with the estate of so, they are getting really beat down.
If you can, please ask others to pray as well. I would appreciate it. There is power in prayer, and so if you don't mind passing it along, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.
Finally, we also received this prayer request from Clint Walker Jr. in Louisville KY:
It's Clint Walker coming back to you with a prayer request. Angela, my wife, has just gone into the hospital with pneumonia and COVID19. I have COVID as well, and we are reaching out to ask you guys to keep us in your prayers. I have been keeping the band in my prayers daily!
Thank your for your prayers.
