We Changed Two Songs on Our Last Two Singles

From time to time, we'll make adjustments to improve certain songs from our singles when we put them on CD. Examples include "Talking Inner Peace," "Makes Me Cranky," and "Show Us the Way." If you've only ever heard the single versions of those songs, you really ought to hear the CD versions.
We recently made edits to two songs from our last two singles — "Signora Pilate's Dream" and "Runnin' Down the Drain." Rather than save them for the CD, we decided to make them available on the single, too. This past Monday at noon, we replaced the old versions in our online store with the new ones.
The changes to "Signora Pilate's Dream" involve the clarity of the overall mix. The performances are the same, but we made adjustments to liven up the sound and to improve the clarity of the lead vocals. We think it's a major improvement.
There is a single change to "Runnin' Down a Drain," but it's an interesting one. There was a glockenspiel part at the very end of Tom Petty's original version (it sounds a little like wind chimes). Rich played it, but we'd forgotten to mix it in. The new version has it.
If you've already gotten those singles from us, just use the links we sent you and download them again. If you got the singles but no longer have the links, send an email to j@apologetix.com and request the links again, and we'll be happy to send them to you.
