Another ApX Daughter in the Studio

This past Wednesday, ApX lead singer J. Jackson and drummer/engineer Jimmy "Vegas" Tanner were joined at Red Apple Audio Workshop by ApologetiX bassist Keith Haynie and his younger daughter, Abby, who came to the studio to record lead female vocals for a song on our next single.
Abby, who will celebrate her 26th birthday later this month, was making her second appearance as a lead vocalist on an ApX recording. She had previously sung lead female vocals on the second verse of "Bought by the Egyptians," which we recorded in December 2015 and released in January 2016. Her older sister, Sarah, sang the first verse, and J.'s oldest daughter, Janna sang the third.
If you're familiar with that recording, you know what Abby's voice sounds like. If not, you can hear it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q841CVkP0ME. Her solo section takes place from 0:56-1:16. Furthermore, her vocal strength and skills have increased in the six years since then.
"Abby sings like a bird," says J., "with a voice as clear as a bell. We've been trying to get her back into the studio to sing with us again for years now. She did a fantastic job. I can't wait for you to hear her vocals on the finished song.
"We all know she has a beautiful singing voice, but she navigated through a song she didn't grow up with — one that has a number of twists and turns — and got better and better as the session went on. I sure hope we don't have wait years till the next time she sings with us. I'll be keeping my eyes and ears open for more opportunities for her."
